What metal do you use?

All MavenMint pieces are crafted in 925 sterling silver — the industry standard for silver jewellery. Our gold vermeil pieces feature 18KT Gold Plating that is 5x thicker than regular gold plating, over a solid silver base, for lasting finish and colour.

Are your diamonds real?

Yes. Our diamonds are lab-grown diamonds. These are optically, chemically, and physically identical to mined/natural diamonds. They are real diamonds, made without mining or conflict, and certified by recognised gemological laboratories. We provide international lab certificates with our products.

Do your pieces come with certification?

Yes. All our pieces are hallmarked, and every diamond is certified by internationally recognised certification agencies. Please retain the certificate along with your invoice for any future requirement.

Is the jewellery suitable for daily wear?

Absolutely. MavenMint jewellery is designed to be worn and loved every day. Our thick gold vermeil plating and quality craftsmanship are made to stand up to real life, not just special occasions.

How should I care for my MavenMint vermeil jewellery?

Put your jewellery on after applying lotions, creams, perfumes, or other beauty products
Store it in the protective pouch provided when not in use
Clean gently with mild soapy water and pat dry with a soft cloth whenever needed

How is Gold Vermeil different from other gold-plated or PVD-coated jewellery?

Gold Vermeil is a premium category of jewellery made by coating a 925-sterling silver base with a minimum 2.5-micron thick layer of 18KT gold. Most standard gold-plated jewellery uses brass, copper, or other base metals with a very thin layer of gold, typically less than 0.5 microns. PVD-coated jewellery, while known for its scratch resistance, is generally applied over stainless steel and uses an extremely thin gold-coloured coating, not a thick layer of precious gold. With at least 5 times thicker gold plating than standard gold-plated jewellery and a precious sterling silver core, Gold Vermeil offers a richer gold finish, greater longevity, better value, and the luxury of real 18KT gold. It is a perfectly precious and practical option.

How is Gold Vermeil different from 9KT and 14KT gold jewellery?

Gold Vermeil is made by coating a 925 sterling silver base with a thick layer of 18KT gold (minimum 2.5 microns). In comparison, 9KT gold contains 37.5% pure gold, while 14KT gold contains 58.3% pure gold — the remaining percentage is made up of alloy metals such as silver, copper, zinc, nickel, or palladium, which add strength and durability. Gold Vermeil offers the rich look of 18KT or champagne gold with a precious sterling silver core, making it an excellent balance of luxury, quality, and value. 9KT, 14KT and18KT gold jewellery pieces will be significantly more expensive than gold vermeil pieces.

Will my jewellery tarnish with time?

Like all fine jewellery, Gold Vermeil may naturally lose some of its shine over time with regular wear or prolonged exposure to air, moisture, perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals. This is a normal characteristic of precious metal jewellery and does not affect the quality of the piece. Gold Vermeil jewellery can be professionally re-plated to restore its original finish. With proper care and storage, you can significantly extend the beauty and longevity of your jewellery.

Is your jewellery hallmarked?
Yes. All MavenMint silver jewellery is BIS hallmarked, so you get certified purity with every piece.

Is gold vermeil precious?
Yes. Gold vermeil is a combination of two precious metals : a sterling silver base plated with a thick layer of real gold : so you're getting genuine precious metal craftsmanship at a more accessible price point than solid gold.

Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take?

Most ready-to-ship orders are dispatched within 2–4 business days and delivered within 3–6 business days across India. Engraved, customised, or MTO pieces may need additional production time, which we’ll communicate at the time of order. You will receive a tracking link once your order is shipped.

Is shipping free?

Yes - we offer free shipping on all orders across India.

Can I track my order?

Yes. A tracking link will be shared via email and WhatsApp once your order is dispatched.

Where do you deliver within India?
