Diameter is the measurement across the inner width of the ring.

Find a Ring That Fits
Choose a ring that comfortably fits the finger you wish to measure.
Measure the Diameter
Lay the ring on a ruler and measure the widest inner edge to inner edge. Round to the nearest whole millimetre.
