Diameter Circumference

Diameter

Diameter is the measurement across the inner width of the ring.

You'll need
  • A ring that fits you
  • Ruler
Step 1

Find a Ring That Fits

Choose a ring that comfortably fits the finger you wish to measure.

Step 2

Measure the Diameter

Lay the ring on a ruler and measure the widest inner edge to inner edge. Round to the nearest whole millimetre.

Step 3

Compare Your Measurement

Compare your measurement with the reference below.

Circumference

Circumference is the measurement around the base of your finger.

You'll need
  • Paper strip
  • Pen / Pencil
  • Ruler
Step 1

Cut a Paper Strip

Cut a paper strip approximately 5 mm wide.

Step 2

Wrap Around Finger

Wrap the strip around the base of your finger and pull snug.

Don't worry! The correct ring size is determined using a snug measurement.
Step 3

Mark the Paper

Mark where the strip overlaps itself.

Step 4

Measure & Compare

Measure the paper strip and compare with the chart.
